Tarot Radio Live — Privacy Policy
Tarot Radio Live is a 24/7 live stream on our YouTube channel with calm music and free three-card tarot readings for entertainment and self-reflection. This policy explains what information our stream bot handles when you interact with it in the YouTube live chat, and how we use it.
YouTube API Services
Our stream bot uses the YouTube API Services to read the live chat of our own broadcasts and to post short replies there. By interacting with the bot you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and YouTube's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
You never sign in to our service and never grant it access to your Google or YouTube account. The bot is authorized only by the owner of our channel, and it only accesses the live chat of our own broadcasts.
What information we handle
When you send a message in our live chat, YouTube makes it visible to everyone watching the stream. Our bot reads these public chat messages. When you ask for a reading or type my card, we store:
- your YouTube channel ID and public display name;
- the text of your question;
- the cards drawn for you and the text of your reading;
- the time of your request, and a short neutral topic label (for example, "your job search") used to greet you when you come back;
- simple counters used to keep the stream fair: how many readings you received today and whether a message was rejected by moderation.
We do not collect your email, your location, your device information, or anything from your YouTube or Google account beyond your public channel ID and display name. Our stream does not use cookies or tracking pixels.
How we use it
- to moderate your question and create your tarot reading;
- to show your question, your reading and your card of the day on the stream;
- to recognize returning viewers and greet them;
- to show community highlights on the stream (for example, recent cards or how many days a viewer has joined us), using public display names only;
- to prevent spam and abuse and to enforce fair-use limits.
We do not sell your information, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to build profiles about you outside of this stream.
Service providers
To moderate questions and write readings, the text of your question (without your channel ID) is sent to an AI language model provided by Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen), processed in its United States region. Our bot and database run on a server hosted by Hetzner Online in the European Union. These providers process data only to run our service.
What appears publicly
Questions you post in the live chat are already public on YouTube. Our stream may show your display name, your question, your cards and your reading on screen, including in replays of earlier readings. If you do not want your question shown, please do not post it in the chat.
How long we keep it
We keep questions, readings and related records for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted automatically. Technical records of which chat messages were already processed are deleted after 48 hours.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to delete your data, or to stop showing your readings on the stream, at any time by writing to [email protected] with your YouTube display name or channel link. We will delete your records within 30 days. You can also remove your own messages from the live chat using YouTube's tools.
Children
Our stream is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used our chat bot, contact us and we will delete the data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
